Another fun attraction to visit is Salvation Mountain; a colorful man-made art installation on a mountain covered in over a million gallons of paint. This Instagram famous attraction is the perfect sunset photoshoot spot.

New Orleans

 If you are looking for a fun weekend filled with rich history, amazing food, and vibrant nightlife, then look no further; New Orleans is the place-to-go! After all, the city’s Motto is, ‘Laissez Les Bon Temps Rouler” which translates to “Let the good times roll”; you are bound to have an amazing time!


What to do?

The French Quarter & Bourbon Street - Located in the heart of the French Quarter, the famous Bourbon Street is a must-see; known for its bars, live music, balconies, and restaurants. While the French Quarter is most notably known for Bourbon Street, it is also known as the epicenter of New Orleans culture.  With walking tours and bike tour, you are bound to learn all about New Orleans history dating back to the 16th century.

 A trip to New Orleans isn’t complete without a stop at Café Du Monde to have their famous beignets. These delicious deep fired donuts topped with powdered sugar are a New Orleans staple that dates back to the city’s French Colonial past.  Another must is the famous Po’ boy sandwich! Sanibel Island

If you are looking forward to a low-key, relaxing vacation, then Sanibel Island is the place for you! Sanibel is located right along the Gulf of Mexico and is known for their white sand beaches and tropical Caribbean feel.

What to do?  

If you love to collect shells this is the place to be; Sanibel Island is known as the best shelling beach in the world. With over 300 kinds of shells you are bound to spend hours collecting varieties of shells. For the more adventurous; kayaking through the mangrove swamps is a must!
